FUN FRIDAYS & SENSATIONAL SATURDAYS    Central Learning Centre introduces Art Classes for children, aged 7 - 13   Classes will run for 10 weeks, beginning the week of March 19, 2007   Fees are $15.00 per 1 1/2 hr class, and includes art supplies.

Children will explore the fundamentals of art and design through creative projects in painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, clay and paper Mache. Each child’s' individual creativity and self-expression will be encouraged.  Groups will be no larger than 8 students and children will experience the joy of creating Art in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Classes will be taught by Tricia Evelyn, an Honors graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. For many years, she owned a design business in the Caribbean and the products that she designed are to be found around the world. She taught art for several enjoyable years in Jamaica to children ranging in age from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and developed an Afternoon Art class in conjunction with an Art Gallery. Tricia has taken part in several international festivals for Artisans over the years and has had solo exhibitions of her work.
